Wayanad, covered up
inside the thick Western Ghats, is one of Kerala's best-kept mysteries. The
name 'Wayanad' originates from 'Vayal Nadu', or place that is known for paddy
fields. It invokes pictures of fully open spaces, secured with rice fields;
however, Wayanad is not that. Paddy fields are, obviously, dominatingly
noticeable, yet gigantic rocks rise discontinuously between them, making the
scene significantly all the more intriguing. At that point, there are
mountains, tea bequests, and espresso manors, and encasing every one of them, a
thick wilderness! From these slopes stream two lasting rivers―Vythiri and the
Kabini, the two of which consolidation further downstream with Kaveri, yet
here, they make the land amazingly prolific, yet also give us bunches of
chances to experience! Characteristic excellence is the thing that makes
Wayanad noteworthy, yet also fascinating is its social and verifiable legacy.
From ancient cavern drawings to medieval sanctuaries, accounts of war and the
opportunity battle, there is a lot to investigate and appreciate in Wayanad.
